I've taken her on dates before. I need a new idea if it's supposed to be grand. You know her, Molly. Tell me what I should say, do. What she'd like. I always do it wrong.

[Sigh. Why am I a counselor, I am so fucked up these days.] Okay. First of all, it has to come from you, not from me if it's going to mean anything to her. ~~For whatever reason~~ She loves you.

But here is why she's so upset. Cissie always feels like second best. Always. So when you told her you loved another woman, what she heard was "if this other woman snaps her fingers, Sylar will go to her, because of course she's better than me." So she's hurt and upset because she thinks she's not enough for you.

Maybe you should try to find a way to show her that she is.

How? If she always feels that way, how am I supposed to change that?

People come back. And Elle's from your world, right? You're going to go back there eventually. Is Cissie coming with you?

That--it's kind of like how you need her to tell you that she loves you. She needs you to show her that she comes first. Over and over, if you have to. It helps.

Elle won't. I know her better than anyone; she wouldn't return. I don't know if I'm going back there and it's Cissie's choice what she does.

I see her. I spend time with her. I leave messages for her. Outside of Tim, she's the only person I bother with on a regular basis. How can that not be enough of a sign?

Because you said you loved someone else. It throws all of the insecurities right back in her face.

I should have lied to her?

Ugh. No. Of course not. She'd much rather you be honest. That doesn't mean it won't hurt sometimes.

Then how do I make that better?

It possible she just needs time. Maybe you should give her space--but let her know that you're available if she wants to talk.
