[A little bit of fumbling, then the screen flicks on to reveal a six or seven year old girl with wide blue eyes and curly blonde hair.  Meet Molly, pre-tattoos, pre-piercings, and she is completely terrified.]

My bedroom is arranged all funny, and it doesn't open out into the right hallway.  Papa?  Mama?  Where are you?  And why did you leave me with Matthew's baby monitor?  [She shakes it a little and presses a few buttons.]  It won't show me Matthew.  Is he with you? [presses a few more buttons and the video cuts out.]

That's not a baby monitor! It's like a phone but with pictures, see? [Have a friendly seven/eight year old Cissie waving at you, Molly.] We're not at home. Someone said it's magic that brought us here, and someone else said it's time travel. I can't find my mom either, though.

[WIDE, WIDE EYES.]

Ooh. I've never seen a phone like this.

...I guess we weren't kidnapped if we're allowed to have phone, right?

Me either! But it's kind of cool.

[PAUSE. HUH, GOOD POINT!] I guess not! I don't know if we can call home with them, though. I don't really know how they work.

[goodgrasshopper]

I don't either. [froooooown] There's a keyboard, and the numbers don't look like they do on a phone.

[cisskabob]

Maybe there's a grown-up somewhere that can show us how to use them!

[goodgrasshopper]

I hope so...

But... all the grown-ups are strangers.

Yeah, but if they tell us their names and we talk to them, they won't be strangers anymore! And some strangers are okay to talk to, like police or heroes.

And priests. I guess some stranger-grown-ups are okay to talk to. What do you mean by heroes? Like firefighters?

[cisskabob]

No, like Green Arrow and Superman! Firefighters are heroes too though, but they're not superheroes.

Do you have a baby brother too! I do!

[goodgrasshopper]

I have two. Daniel's three, so he's not really a baby anymore. Matthew's the little guy. He's only a few months old.

Wow. I have a brother and a sister. He just turned four.

[goodgrasshopper]

How old is your sister? I wish I had a sister...

She's ten. She's kinda mean, though.

[goodgrasshopper]

...I don't think I'd want a mean sister. I'd rather have a nice sister. I'm going to try to be a nice big sister.

I'm a good big sister, but Leo always gets into trouble.

[giggle] Daniel gets in trouble sometimes. One time, he took my paint and put it all over his bedroom walls.
