[five] This is not my happy face.

So, I'm thinking the best plan for the rest of this flood is to... hide out in my cabin until it's over.

Notice to any creepy clown-types who think it's a good idea to come by and mess with me:
I have a big, scary dog here the size of a small horse.  He really likes me, and really doesn't like people who upset me.  Fair warning.

A foo dog? Why, that's marvelous! I've never had occasion to see one of those- my experience, unfortunately, runs to more common breeds, and my preference to retrievers, Saint Bernards and old English sheepdogs- well, and K9, though he isn't exactly a breed. I've always wanted to study the Oriental ones, though I've never had much time for it. Hmm...

The larger ones always do seem to have the best manners, don't they? Perhaps I might. I've got a dog of my own, though he, ah... he isn't a regular dog.

...he speaks several languages, at least. And I think I've got his hovering mechanism working properly again. It never occurred to me to ask how well he gets on with other dogs, or vice versa.

...Well, he did until a moment ago. I think I might've tampered with his magnetic-sim circuit while I was adjusting a wheel bearing. I knew we should have built him with more modern synthetics. Back to the laboratory, it seems.

Yes, of c- oh... I failed to mention that, didn't I? Terribly sorry.
