Well, we are surrounded by deserts. The Impassable Desert to the North, the Deadly Desert to the East, the Great Sandy Waste to the South, and the Shifting Sands to the West.

There are kingdoms on the other side of the deserts, I'm sure, but I've never been there. Is your Canada near one of our deserts?
