I'm not. I'm trying--they--[deep breath] They're like your illusions?

Um. I think they're a little more... physical. Like--ghosts.

[cisskabob]

That's what Murphy said. It's just--not like the ghosts where I'm from.

Ghosts--aren't all that nice.

I guess. ...I have a friend, back home, who used to be one. A ghost, I mean.

How do you "used to be" a ghost?

Um, she was a ghost and then she pissed off Darkseid and he punished her by--making her human again. Except she was actually really happy about it.

Dark Side? Like--the force?

Doesn't sound like much of a punishment.

Uh, no, like the evil god. He's tried to destroy the world a few times.

It really wasn't, but for him, becoming mortal would be a huge one, so I guess he thought it made sense. It just--was the best thing that could happen to her.

Not being a ghost anymore? I can imagine. Most ghosts I've heard of are really unhappy.

Yeah. She was actually usually pretty upbeat, for a ghost. ...But I think she might have been the exception to the rule.
