[Molly is cleaning up her room, getting rid of the detritus from the Admiral's ~~creepy~~ attentions. Mouse is sitting on her bed with a basket that contains a mix CD, a bottle of champagne, and a ton of smiley face cookies. She's sweeping up flower petals and putting candles away. She glances at the camera.]

You're right. It would never have worked out for us. But it was sweet--in a creepy way--while it lasted. Thanks for the memories.

...Anyone want to help me eat these cookies?

[She puts a cookie into his hand, laughing, while Mouse comes out to INVESTIGATE. He is giving Krypto a deeply suspicious look. Molly glances down at them.]

He's a friend, Mouse.

[Krypto, for his part, walks over to sniff Mouse's butt. Kon takes the cookie and bites into it.]

I'll say this for the Admiral. Apparently he can bake.

He can. I was very seriously considering not sharing, but... It probably wouldn't be good for me to eat all the cookies.

But it would be a delicious idea, right? [Kon keeps finishes the cookie and licks his fingers.] Not that I'm complaining.

[Krypto finishes greeting Mouse, then goes over to look up at Molly with big eyes and a swiftly wagging tail. Guess who else wants a cookie?]

Oh, definitely. [She offers another cookie to Kon and glances down at Krypto.] Is it okay to feed him people food?

[Kon shrugs.] He's a Kryptonian dog. So yeah, it should be fine.

[Krypto wags his tail even harder at that, tongue lolling out of his mouth.]

Good to know. [Molly hands cookies to both dogs, then looks back up at Kon.]

So--you and Cissie are friends from home?

[Oh, the always awkward question. Secret IDs are TRICKY like that.]

Yeah, uh, we met at camp. Her camp, I mean. I was just saving the day.

[Yeah. Nice try. You're an awful liar.]

...Superhero Summer Camp?

[...yeah, he really is. Shh. Watch Kon try to cover!]

Superhero? No, no, she was in camp. I was just there by coincidence. I don't go to summer camp. I fight crime.

[Skeptical Grasshopper is Skeptical.]

I mean that team you guys were on, back wen she was Arrowette. That Superhero Camp.

...oh. [OKAY she is in the know. Kon will have to ask Cissie about how much she knows later. So that he doesn't accidentally blow anyone's cover.]

Yeah? I guess you guys must be pretty close, then. I mean, Cissie's not exactly Batman about her ID, but she doesn't tell everyone.

Yeah, I've met her. [That is definitely a note of disapproval in his voice, yep.]

[eyebrows raised.] Is she as much of a piece of work as she sounds?

[Kon nods.] She's... well, my mom was a test tube and I think I had it better.

My mom is... kind of a tiger, and we don't always get along, but I never had to worry about whether she'd love me, you know?
