[Molly is cleaning up her room, getting rid of the detritus from the Admiral's ~~creepy~~ attentions. Mouse is sitting on her bed with a basket that contains a mix CD, a bottle of champagne, and a ton of smiley face cookies. She's sweeping up flower petals and putting candles away. She glances at the camera.]

You're right. It would never have worked out for us. But it was sweet--in a creepy way--while it lasted. Thanks for the memories.

...Anyone want to help me eat these cookies?

Thirty seconds? Really? Good thing I'm decent. I'm on level seven.

[ And in approximately thirty seconds (he tried extra hard to make it in time, just for her) he's knocking on her door. ]

[Wow. That really was fast. Molly opens the door, raising an eyebrow a little.] Come on in. I hope you don't mind dogs.

[Mouse, the woolly Chammoth, approaches, looking... large. And reasonably friendly for an enormous dog.]

[ Well now Wally has to get down on his knee and greet the behemoth properly: with lots of petting. ]

What's his name?

[D'aww. Cute.]

Mouse, actually. Believe it or not, he was a very tiny puppy.

[ He laughs, mostly just trying to avoid the inevitable tongue in his face now. ]

Cute. Nice to meet you, Mouse.

[Molly grins. It's always nice to see people being friendly with her dog/babysitter.]

So--I don't think we've officially met. I'm Molly, by the way.

[ He gives her a winning smile that for once, isn't at all lascivious. ]

Wally. Wally West.

Nice to meet you, Wally West. [She hands him a smiley face cookie from the basket.] I am happy to share my cookie bounty with you.

[ He bows his head mockingly. ]

I am forever in your debt, Molly.

[ And then he pops the whole cookie in his mouth. ]

[Molly laughs.] I guess you're a fan?

[ He considers the cookie for a moment, then nods fervently. Somebody bit off more than he can chew, but he's enjoying it at least! ]

[Molly's going to laugh again and wait until he finishes chewing and swallowing before speaking.]

From what I hear, the Admiral hands them out when people get whiny. ...I just didn't realize he handed them out when he was being creepy, too.

Is there really any time that he isn't being creepy?

[THOUGHTFUL.]

Well, no. But getting notes like "I hear you, sometimes. At night," and "You're beautiful when you sleep" written in lipstick on my bathroom mirror tips the creepy-meter over into "Fatal Attraction" territory.

[ ... ]

That's pretty far over the line.

That was kind of what I thought. So, I'm keeping the presents. I think it's the least he should do for the psychological trauma.

And of course--sharing the wealth of cookies.

I guess as long as you got something good out of it...

You shouldn't have to put up with that kind of thing, though.

[She shrugs a little]

I think it was a flood. Probably. A lot of people were acting a little strangely. And... I guess I kind of knew that the Admiral saw everything around here. I just didn't really consider the implications of that.

Hope you weren't doing anything embarrassing.

Just day to day life. I didn't even blow up any potions this week.

And that's usually a concern?

Oh, before I forget, you know parlor magic too, right? Or am I thinking of someone else...
