[Molly looks kind of beat up and a lot worn out. So does Mouse, who has his head on her knee.]

I'm back. Looks like we got a new interior decorator while I was gone. Can't say I really love the new decorating scheme. What did I miss?

[If your character gave Molly a Christmas gift, they should find a hand-written thank-you note slipped under their door in the next half-hour or so.]

I'm back--hope things didn't get too insane while I was gone. You doing all right?

The new decorations just showed up this morning, I have no idea what's going on. I'd suspect a flood, but no announcement, so... who knows.

Anyway, I'm on my way down! You're in your room, right?

[Molly's pretty damn glad to see you, too, Cissie.]

Hm. Super. Back just in time for everything to go to Hell. [So, nothing new there.]

Yeah, I'm in my room. I'll leave the door opened for you.

[Molly, Cissie would ask you about that pessimism, since it's not your usual attitude, but she's too happy to see you back! So she's just going to... yeah, totally run all the way to your room. And not bother to knock before coming in and basically tackling you. Enjoy that.]

Oof! [She pats Cissie's back a little.] I guess you kind of missed me, huh?

Maybe a little bit. [Cissie holds the hug a little longer before pulling back and giving her back her wand.] How'd everything go?

[Very faint smile as she takes the wand.] ...I'd rather hear about what happened around here while i was gone.

[Cue worry. Bad things went down, didn't they. :| Cissie pauses for a minute, giving Molly a look.] Well, a bunch of new people showed up. Sylar broke up with me. ...Is everyone okay?

[Yeah, they really did.] Sylar broke up with you? Do I have to beat him up? I could beat him up for you.

[Cissie really wants to know what happened, Molly. :| You and Mouse look like Hell. ...But damn, you had to ask about Sylar. Suddenly she's like thisclose to crying and she hates that.] ...He slept with Stephanie.

[Bwahaha. Yay misdirection!] That bastard. What an asshole! How could he do that to you?

[It will only work for so long, you know! For now, Cissie's giving Mouse a lot of attention.] Tim thinks he's scared and pushing people away.

[Molly puts an arm around her] It's still a shitty thing to do. I'm sorry.

[Cissie totally glomps on for a real hug.] It's all right. Or, well, it will be. I'm just really glad you're back. I missed you.

I missed you too. [hugging her back tightly] And I can still beat him up.

Thanks. [She pulls back to look at her.] You look kind of like you've been beat up, though.

Yeah, well. [She shrugs and rubs Mouse's ears a little.] Things... got hairy back home.

What happened? ...Are Harry and Murphy okay? What about your family?

[Slight wince.] That's... kind of a broad question. Harry's daughter was kidnapped by vampires. They were going to make her part of a massive round of human sacrifices, so we went in and took her back... and pretty much ended the Red Court while we were at it. I guess it counts as a win. Murphy's fine. So is my family. [SHE DOESN'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT HARRY RIGHT NOW, OKAY?]

[...Human sacrifices. Ending the Red Court. Don't think she won't come back to Harry in a second, but she's a little preoccupied with one thing:] ...Harry's daughter?

[Faint smile] He only just found out about her. Her name is Maggie--after his mother. She's... pretty adorable.

[Cissie is BOGGLED.] I--wow. How old is she? You said you saved her? So everything's okay?

[SO WAS MOLLY] Eight. And yeah. We stopped the bad guys. She's okay now. She'll be safe. Father Forthill... he's going to help her.

Good. [...Waaaait a second.] ...Father Forthill? Why's he helping her?

Harry... Harry thought it would be safer for her if she went somewhere where he wouldn't know where she was. Kind of like witness protection. The Church does that sometimes.

[Cissie sighs. That sounds like Harry.] Poor Harry. Is he okay?

[STOP ASKING ABOUT HARRY, OKAY? Molly looks like she's going to cry as she shakes her head.]

[OH CRAP. THIS IS NOT GOOD. Cissie puts an arm around her.] ...But--he'll be okay. Right? [IT'S HARRY. HARRY SURVIVED ZOMBIES. ...Oh wait, no he didn't, he totally death-tolled, craaap.]

[Molly shakes her head again and takes a deep breath. NOT GOING TO CRY, OKAY??] He--disappeared. There were bullet-holes in the Water Beetle. The police think... [Yeah, so not finishing that.]

[THIS IS NOT GOOD NEWS. Crying is allowed, Molly. :| But Cissie grabs her in a tight hug.] The police are stupid. He'll be okay, Molly.

[Hugging back. LOTS.] I hope so.

[Oh, Molly. Cissie's just going to hold on as long as you need her to.] He will. You said he disappeared. Doesn't he do that, like, all the time?

Usually he lets someone know what's going on first, though. Me. My dad. Murphy... [Miserable shrug.] Someone. But no one knows anything.

Maybe he just didn't have time. He's gotten through impossible situations before.

[Molly leans her head on Cissie's shoulder.] Yeah, he has. I hope this was something like that, because... I really don't want to think about the alternative.

[Cissie's just going to keep holding you, Molly.] Me too. I don't think there's anything wrong with hoping for the best right now.
